It is with sadness I must inform you of the death of Fr Peter Meredith. As many know he had been ill for some time and recently underwent serious heart surgery.
The funeral was on Tuesday 2nd September, at Aberystwyth Crematorium where I conducted the ceremony.
This is a first for us as a Church, and must therefore be a moment for meditation on the changing nature of life and the brevity of the time that God gives us to make ourselves over into His image. Let Peter's passing into his eternal reward be a moment of Grace and prayer for us all.
Let us remember him with love and affection.
May he rest in peace.
